    I like fishing here. The altitude and open aspect mean the wind can make casting challenging but also lead to well-oxygenated water. This and the abundance of natural food (insects and rudd-fry) make for hard-fighting (and great tasting) fish. Many varieties of trout to catch, wildlife to enjoy, the lodge is nice, Peter is always welcoming. What's not to like?

    Superbly managed venue, waters are clear and well stocked. Not many places where you can catch four species of trout in one session. Peter is very friendly and full of useful advice. It is very easy to reach from London and in a beautiful setting.
